Public figures have a responsibility to use their influence to make a difference—and what better way to use your power than to protect vulnerable communities. Here are a few public figures who have used their voices to protect life:
Tim Tebow
Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is one of the most well-known pro-life celebrities. Pro-life activism is near and dear to his heart because his own mother was advised to abort him due to pregnancy complications but she chose life.
Tim Tebow advocates for the unborn in many ways, including participating in pro-life events like dinners and rallies. In 2024, Tim spoke at the Southwest Indiana Right to Life dinner, where he inspired audiences with his mother’s pro-life story. Part of Tim and his mom’s story was featured in a 2010 Super Bowl Ad! Watch it here.
Pro-life to his core, Tim established The Tim Tebow Foundation, which serves to protect unborn lives as well as many other vulnerable communities. With his foundation and platform, Tim strives to make a difference in the lives of orphans, the disabled, those with profound medical needs, and victims of human trafficking and child exploitation.
Patricia Heaton
Everybody Loves Raymond actress Patricia Heaton is passionately pro-life. Patricia often uses her social platforms to bring awareness to the dangers of abortion and the social, economic, and psychological factors that motivate women to choose abortion.
Patricia has also headlined many pro-life rallies, where she has encouraged audiences to offer community to women in crisis. At a pro-life rally in 2016, Patricia said, “When a woman finds herself unexpectedly pregnant, the world offers her the reality of isolation and we must offer the truth of community, hope, and love.”
As a pro-life feminist, Patricia serves as an honorary co-chairman for the organization Feminists for Life. In her role as co-chairman, Patricia strives to provide real choices for women in crisis through legislation, education, and advocacy.
Kathy Ireland
Supermodel Kathy Ireland wasn’t always staunchly pro-life. In fact, she was pro-choice until she immersed herself in scientific literature and discovered that the evidence supported the truth idea that life begins at conception.
Kathy now advocates for defunding Planned Parenthood, speaks at pro-life events, and has even been honored with an award at Live Action’s Life Awards Gala for her “courage, commitment, and sacrifice to help create a world where every child is treasured.”
Not only has Kathy been vocal about her support of the unborn but women as well. Kathy urges everyone to have compassion for women in crisis, stating in an interview, “We cannot be condemning women. Women have been so hurt by this and they’re not given all the facts.” Women and the unborn deserve better than abortion.
